Oct. 31, 2024 — The Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College at Wichita State University has been named a Partners in Peace institution, a new distinction awarded in partnership with the Nobel Peace Center in Norway, and the National Collegiate Honors Council.

Oct. 24, 2024 - Wichita State is taking the successful HOPE kits program and adapting it to the perinatal population, in coordination with the Center for Research for Infant Birth and Survival (CRIBS) at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.

Oct. 9, 2024 - The Wichita Biomedical Campus will use a $1 million grant to support workforce training for in-demand jobs by purchasing audiology equipment for assessment, teaching and research.

Oct. 4, 2024 - Kansas is home to more than 15,000 archeological sites containing items such as arrowheads, ceramics and bison bones. Dr. Matthew Howland, assistant professor in Wichita State University’s Department of Anthropology, is in the early stages of modeling risks posed by erosion caused by rivers, flooding, and agricultural plowing.
