Heskett Center
Named in honor of H. Dean Heskett, many department indoor and outdoor programs and
activities take place in the Heskett Center and surrounding grounds. This 166,000
square-foot, shared use facility has everything a fitness enthusiast needs for a healthy,
enjoyable, and productive college career. By presenting your current Shocker ID card,
you have opened a door into the very best in fitness and recreation.
The Heskett Center facility serves Campus Recreation, Human Performance Studies, ROTC
and the Dance Department. Campus Recreation facilities provides the University community
with plenty of opportunities to satisfy their recreational needs.
5 convertible indoor courts including 3 hardwood collegiate size basketball courts
and a 200 meter indoor track with six lanes.
Located on the lower level and features 17 Cybex Eagle stations.
Checkout sporting equipment, video games, and board games from our guest services
desk.
20 PC Units, 2 Large Screen TV's, and multiple consoles to choose from.
International renowned high interval intensity training studio in the heart of campus
featuring group classes throughout the day. Located on lower level.
Visit for a game of Squash, Racquetball or Table Tennis. Located on the lower level.
This fully accessible outdoor circuit course features 8 different exercise stations.
Men's, Women's, and Family facilities are located on the lower level and include lockers,
shower facilities, and dry saunas.
Stop by for a game of Pickleball, Basketball or Futsal. Equipment available at the
service desk.
Focus on your strength and conditioning with state of the art cardio equipment and
weight room.
25-meter, eight-lane swimming pool and separate diving well with 350,000 gallons of
crystal-clear climate controlled water.
Located at 29th & Oliver our two outdoor playfields are used for Campus Recreation
sponsored intramural and sport club activities.
