Adelante - to move forward; to get ahead

Meaning of Adelante

Adelante is a Spanish word that means "to move forward" or "to get ahead."

The Camarenas chose the name "Shocker Adelante Scholars" to describe the scholarship recipients from their gift, in hopes that these students will receive the mentoring and tutoring services, while overcoming financial and cultural barriers that students can encounter during the educational process.
