1-3 p.m. (Vendor/Publisher Village)

 

Agenda

  • FOCUS: Affordable course material options, including Access Now and Equitable Access.
    • General Sessions (9AM – 1PM)
      • 9AM: Introductions and overview of day and Access Now program (Andi Stipp, Shocker Store)
      • 9:15AM: VitalSource Digital Bookshelf Overview – review student experience, features, faculty analytics, etc. (Cary Caldwell, Digital Development Account Representative, Verba|VitalSource)
      • 10AM: Faculty Panel (varies by day) – Faculty share their experience with Access Now
      • 10:30AM: Student Panel (varies by day)- Students share their experiences with Access Now
      • 11AM: The Future of Affordable Course Materials (Kathleen Hayes, Director of Institutional Partnerships, VitalSource) – Current trends in the market, enhancements to the current VitalSource Bookshelf experience: Coach Me, Equitable Access (EA).
      • 12PM: BREAK
  • Publisher Affordability Fair (1PM-3PM):– meet with various publishers and review what is necessary to establish content in Blackboard for Access Now, updates on publisher content, learn what’s new.


 

 Parking Info

  • Visitors should look to park in lot just South of the Rhatigan Student Center or in the parking garage adjacent to the Rhatigan Student Center.
  • Visitors may park in the surface lot for free, but may not park in the red reserved spaces.
  • The parking garage is available at an hourly rate of $1.50 per hour, debit/credit card only. You may park on levels 2, 3, or 4. You must know your license plate number.
  • Campus parking map & rules/regulations

Vendor Village - 1-3 p.m. daily (RSC second floor)

 Visit the Vendor Village, a tabling event featuring publishers who also offer affordable student solutions to course materials.
