IEEE-HKN logo

IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN) is the honor society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).  The organization promotes excellence in the profession and in education through an emphasis on scholarshipcharacter, and attitude.  Membership is a lifelong designation for individuals who have distinguished themselves as students or as professionals in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, and other fields of IEEE interest. 

The Epsilon Xi chapter of IEEE- Eta Kappa Nu was established on May 22, 1966 at Wichita State University.

We recognize the efforts students who excel in the spirit of the HKN and the faculty members who help them succeed.

Tutoring

We assist students with their classes to see them fulfil their potential.

Student Leadership Conference

Every year we send selected students to a nationwide leadership conference that builds their character and induces them with a larger exposure of the field.

Student Activities

We plan events year-round to keep our members invested in the chapter and benefit WSU's student membership overall.
