This is your momene! It's time to celebrate all the hard work, late nights, and big wins that brought you to graduation at WSU! Grab your friends and family and join us for a lively celebration featuring delicious hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a celebratory champagne toast.

All academic colleges will be there to cheer you on and recognize your incredible achievement. Don't forget to stop by check-in to pickup your commemorative WSU champagne flute, an honor cord, and your alumni pin—because you’ve earned it. Let’s celebrate you in style!

A Graduation Celebration!

Commencement

Wichita State University Commencement honors the hard work and dedication of Wichita State graduate and welcomes family and community to campus to share in this momentous occasion. Students wishing to walk in their commencement ceremony must register ahead of time with the Registrar's Office.

Commencement is held at Charles Koch Arena located on the WSU main campus at the corner of 21st and Hillside.

Travel & Lodging

The Wichita Mid-Continent Airport is the closest commercial airport to WSU. All necessary hotel accommodations for out-of-town guests should be made early to guarantee reservations.

Stay Close to Campus

Want to stay close to campus? Here are two options that will make the commute to and from campus a little easier. The Hyatt Place at Wichita State University is located on the east side of the main campus and includes over 100 guest rooms including standard king and double rooms, suites with kitchenettes and accessible accommodations located on the 1st floor. Aloft Wichita is located 6 minutes away, just north of campus near K-96 and Oliver.

Parking

Guest and graduate parking at The Toast is not reserved. Since there is a limited amount of parking near the Rhatigan Student Center carpooling is encouraged.
