WSU announces winners of $64,000 Gore Scholarship

Jan. 28, 2022 — Wichita State University has selected the 2022 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend WSU in fall 2022.

Free membership at GoCreate for WSU students fosters creative campus community

Jan. 25, 2022 -- Further expanding its presence as a diverse creative workspace at WSU, GoCreate recently began offering free memberships to Wichita State students.

WSU chooses 14 finalists for Distinguished Scholarship Invitational

Jan. 24, 2022 — More than 488 students competed in the Distinguished Scholarship Invitational at Wichita State University. The pool has been narrowed to 14, but only three will win the $64,000 Harry Gore Memorial scholarship, which is one of the largest undergraduate awards in the Midwest.

Six Wichita State teams advance in Koch Innovation Challenge

January 24, 2022 - Six Wichita State University student teams were selected as semi-finalists in the university’s sixth annual Koch Innovation Challenge Angel Round on December 3. Those six teams advance to the Grand Champion competition in May. 

Boeing 777-300ER Freighter Conversion Program achieves significant FAA milestone

Jan. 20, 2022 -- On Wednesday, Wichita State University and Kansas Modification Center (KMC) reached another significant milestone to advance the passenger-to-freighter aircraft conversion of the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft at WSU’s National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) WERX.
