SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND COST

Students are responsible for all application expenses, including the purchase of professional liability insurance in the minimum range of $1,000,000-$3,000,000, security background clearance and demonstrate proof of standard health insurance before beginning the professional phase of the ATP. Students enrolled in HPS 130 - Taping and Bandaging in Athletic Training are required to pay a Department Cost-Recovery Fee for the use of consumable athletic training materials in order to meet the objectives of the course as outlined in the WSU Undergraduate Catalog. Students are required to provide their own transportation to each clinical site. Students should contact the ATP Coordinator if they have any questions about these special requirements and costs.
