Details: Seward County Broadcasting is seeking an experienced on-air personality for B107.5, Hot A/C format. Additional roles include production, Assistant News and Sports on KSCB-FM/AM and KLDG-FM . We are the local source for news, weather and sports in Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle. Position responsibilities will include:
- Host a live morning show 6-10 am, Monday - Friday engaging and entertaining listeners with an upbeat and informative on-air presence
- Appearances at station promotions and remote broadcasts
- Commercial production and audio editing through Adobe Audition
- Assisting news casts on-air and covering and writing news stories
- Engaging listeners through social media
- Play by Play sports coverage experience would be a great plus, but not required
Qualifications:
- Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels, multi-task, and handle pressures and deadlines
- Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment
- Experience with music automation software
- Quickly become proficient in Adobe Audition
- Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills
- Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting
- Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing
- On-air show experience
- News and sports play by a play experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to lift equipment that may weigh up to 50 pounds
