Aging Studies students personalize their career path

Students in aging studies work closely with a graduate advisor to create a flexible, personalized learning experience. Opportunities for applied learning through direct service hours within an aging service, program or organization expand their networking potential.

Culminating program options provide the choice of practical experience in the field through practicum placements, such as the Administrator-in-Training practicum, honing skills through additional electives and receiving mentorship from community leaders and industry partners.

Curriculum

The Aging Studies program consists of 36 credit hours, including specialization in one of three concentrations: Senior Living Management, Public Health, and Senior Community Services. You will learn from industry experts and passionate faculty who connect content expertise with the field of aging.
