Oct 21, 2013 — By WSU News Services — The WSU Symphony Orchestra will present a Halloween Family Concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in Miller Concert Hall. Tickets are available from the WSU Fine Arts Box Office for $7. Discount prices are available, and students can get a free ticket with a current WSU ID at the box office. Children in costume will also be admitted free.

The yearly Kansas BEST robotics competition, normally held at WSU's Koch Arena, will be held at Hartman Arena on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Oct 21, 2013 — By WSU News Services — The 15th Annual Kansas BEST robotics competition, designed to inspire and motivate high school students toward careers in engineering, science and technology, will be held from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in Hartman Arena. Kansas BEST is sponsored by Wichita State University's College of Engineering.

The new residence hall, slated for completion in August 2014, will be named Shocker Hall.
