The award is given by the Council for Opportunity in Education. COE is TRIO’s national organization.

Aug 29, 2013 — By WSU News Services — The Political Science Department at Wichita State University will host Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in the CAC Theater. The lecture is free and open to the public. Praeger will present on the changing health care system in Kansas and across the country, based on the Obama administration’s new policies.

Ken Kriz, Regents distinguished professor and director of the Kansas Public Finance Center at Wichita State University, says the options are few and far between for cities facing bankruptcy.
