Apr 29, 2016 — By WSU News Services — STEMpact2020, a citywide mentoring effort led by Wichita State University's College of Engineering, has launched STEM All Stars, a speakers bureau providing science, technology, engineering and math professionals willing to speak to area classrooms and youth-serving organizations or serve as project mentors.

Students showed off their business ideas at the Shocker New Ventures Competition. The winner will be announced in the final round Friday, April 29.

Carissa DeVoss, a senior from Dodge City, has won the largest English scholarship in the state to attend Wichita State University.

A team from the Higher Learning Commission will visit Wichita State in October.  The university has been accredited by the HLC since 1927.
