This past summer, the WSU program worked with 30 middle school students to individually create a photo essay for entry in the national DigiText TRIO Quest competition.

Nov 7, 2012 — By WSU News Services — Zulma Toro-Ramos, dean of the College of Engineering at Wichita State University since 2005, has been named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, effective in January 2013. WSU President John Bardo and Interim Provost Keith Pickus will determine the next step in naming a new dean for the College of Engineering.

May 31, 2013 — By WSU News Services — The Shocker men's and women's bowling teams swept their fields of competition Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3 and 4, at the second annual Jayhawk Collegiate Classic tournament in Lawrence, Kan. Six Wichita State bowlers also earned all-tournament team honors.
