In the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 21, the full moon will glide through the deepest part of Earth's shadow, causing a total lunar eclipse. The Lake Afton Public Observatory will be open to the public for this special event from midnight-4:30 a.m.

Manny Thompson works as an intern with the Drug Enforcement Administration in Wichita. Thompson is a senior criminal justice major who is getting paid and getting credit through the WSU co-op program.

Dec 1, 2010 — By WSU News Services — Wichita State University has chosen the top eight finalists in the annual Distinguished Scholarship Invitational. Two of the finalists will be selected as recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial $48,000 scholarship, one of the largest undergraduate scholarships in Kansas.

Dec 3, 2010 — By WSU News Services — This year's French play, a comedy performed entirely in French, comes with an additional treat: the playwright, Bernard Eyraud, will travel from his home in France to spend a week of rehearsals with the student performers. Eyraud will also visit high school French classes while in Wichita.
