Gross Anatomy Laboratory
Wichita State has one of only two anatomy labs in the greater Wichita area that use
human cadavers and is the largest lab of its kind in southcentral Kansas. The lab
offers students vital hands-on experience working with actual human organs and structures.
Students can study tendons, muscles and body parts, and see firsthand how anatomical
systems are structured throughout the body.
The gross anatomy lab provides students with an opportunity to develop a 3-D understanding
of the human body and interactions of anatomical systems. The gross anatomy lab serves
as an extremely valuable educational tool for undergraduate and graduate students
in the College of Health Professions.
