Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crime Statistics Act
Each year, Wichita State University publishes a report entitled the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. The report contains crimes statistics from the previous three years that were reported to the University Police Department, local police agencies or to campus security authorities that occur within the University’s geography as defined by relevant federal law.
The statistics in the report reflect the number of criminal incidents reported to the various authorities. The report also includes institutional policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
This report is a result of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and complies with Federal reporting requirements, specifically 20 U.S. Code Section 1092(f).
The report is always available online. You may also obtain a printed copy of the report from the University Police Department, which can be accessed from the east Perimeter Road, and is located on the east side of campus; south of Wilkins Softball Complex and north of the Campus Credit Union. You may reach the UPD by calling 316-978-3450.
