Members of the media are invited to attend the following events:

  • First Day of School - Aug. 21. First day of classes for students. Media welcome any time.
  • Esports Hub Open House - 4-6 p.m. Aug. 23, Heskett Center. WSU's esports team is on the rise nationally with several big recent wins.
  • Beach Party — 7-9 p.m. Aug. 23, at the Heskett Center patio and pool.
  • Clash of the Colleges — 4-7 p.m. Aug. 25, at Cessna Stadium. This annual student event is a fierce team competition among eight WSU colleges that includes relay races and team sports to determine who rules the school.
