The community will soon have a new restaurant to choose from when Two Hands Corn Dogs opens on Wichita State University’s campus Friday, Sept. 22.
Two Hands, founded in 2019 and based in Los Angeles, is the next eating establishment to take root in Braeburn Square on WSU’s Innovation Campus, joining Starbucks, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, Social Tap, Sungrano Pizza, Wheatly’s Burgers and Jersey Mike’s.
The menu includes items such as corn dogs, elotes, fries and tots with Korean-style twists, as well as a selection of slush and soda.
“Our establishment caters to the diverse needs of the campus community, appealing to individuals of all ages and genders,” said Lexi Le, owner of Two Hands. “We take pride in offering approachable price points, ensuring that our menu items are affordable for everyone. Moreover, our focus on efficiency enables us to provide fast service, allowing our customers to enjoy their meals without unnecessary delays.”
Patrons will also be able to order meals through a variety of online delivery platforms, or order online and pick up their meals in the restaurant. Two Hands does not include in-restaurant dining, but the food can be taken into other Braeburn Square restaurants with the purchase of a drink or food item from the establishment.
For the soft opening on Friday, Two Hands will be open from noon to 7 p.m., with the normal business hours being from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. To celebrate the opening, diners can enjoy a corn dog at no additional charge during a special event from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sept. 24.
