In alignment with the Kansas Board of Regents, Wichita State University is taking
part in the first statewide free college application period — Apply Free Days — from
Nov. 7-9.
During this period, any Kansas resident who applies for degree-bound undergraduate
admission to Wichita State can do so without paying the application fee.
Prospective students can start and save their online application at any time. As long
as they submit the final application during the three-day window, the fee will be
waived.

“We’re proud to take part in this initiative, which helps remove barriers for those
interested in attending college,” says WSU President Rick Muma. “Providing access
and affordability is one of our top priorities, and this is another way that WSU and
the Board of Regents are helping Kansas families.”
