WSU staff to be honored for distinguished service

The President’s Distinguished Service Awards and the unclassified professionals’ Wayne Carlisle Distinguished Service Award will be presented during the Shocker Pride Celebration 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the Rhatigan Student Center east courtyard.

The awards presentation will begin at noon. Join in the celebration and congratulate the honorees. Show your Shocker pride by wearing your Shocker gear.

Please respond to the Shocker Pride Celebration invitation and request a meal ticket by Wednesday, April 30.

If you respond to the Shocker Pride Celebration invitation, a meal ticket will be mailed to your campus box. The meal ticket serves as admittance to the food tent and will be used for a door prize drawing during the celebration.

In the case of inclement weather, the picnic will be held in the RSC ballroom.
