Francisco Gonzalez has been named Executive Director of the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity at Wichita State University, effective Jan. 6, 2014.

Gonzalez is currently senior dispute prevention and resolution specialist for the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.

He previously served as assistant director of equal opportunity and affirmative action at the University of Arizona and EEO/AA investigator and diversity trainer for a consortium of community colleges in southern Minnesota.

“Mr. Gonzalez brings a depth of experience to the position that will help continue to enhance our diversity on campus and to continue to promote an environment that is welcoming to all," said WSU President John Bardo.
