The policy has been amended to respond to a Board of Regents directive to require background checks of employees regardless of FTE (Section 3.31 previously exempted those with less than a .5 appointment). Section 3.31 was also amended to clearly state that the University could expand the level and/or type of check being conducted based on contractual requirements.
