What's up in flight research and development at WSU?

How do they go that fast, and why do they stay up there? Engineering innovation has been primary to Wichita's historic prominence in aviation, and WSU plays a large role in retaining and extending its edge in the industry. Led by L. Scott Miller, chair of aerospace engineering, discover how the aviation industry is evolving by hearing presentations for the general public by WSU engineering leaders at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in the Beren Gallery at the Ulrich Museum of Art. Panelists include James Steck, Janet Twomey, Steven Skinner, Melanie Violette and Bob Minaie. Immediately following the presentations, selected College of Engineering and National Institute for Aviation Research labs will host an open house for attendees. The events are free and open to the public.
