Niall Shanks, Curtis D. Gridley Distinguished Professor in History and Philosophy of Science at WSU, will present "The Brutal Art: One Thousand Years of Surgery" at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 16) in 100 Lindquist Hall. The talk is sponsored by the Medieval and Renaissance Certificate Program.
