Judges needed for two upcoming events

Hippodrome, WSU's longest-running tradition, needs people to judge the annual skit competition. There also is a need for 15 judges to review nominees for several awards for members of the Greek community.

The Hippodrome mini-plays are written, directed and performed by WSU students. One set of judges will be needed for Wednesday, April 16, and Thursday, April 17, from 5-10 p.m.
The second set of judges is needed from about 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Judges need not have theatrical expertise. One stipulation is that judges not have any direct ties to any of the competing groups.

From about 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 21, there is a need for 15 judges (three teams of five each) to review nominees for several awards for members of the Greek community. Scholarships are awarded in honor of two WSU alumni. Craig Barton has endowed an award to recognize two outstanding sophomores and Sam Cohlmia is the namesake for the Greek Man and Woman Award. Additionally, Greek organizations will be competing for the James Rhatigan Award for Fraternal Excellence. There are several other awards that will be included for the teams to review. Judges are needed who have some knowledge of Greek letter organizations, but have no direct affiliation with any at WSU.
