* The Audiology Clinic at WSU's Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic will offer free hearing screenings Oct. 20-24. The clinic is located at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex, Entrance T. Call 978-3289 to schedule an appointment. Limited space available.

* WSU's Regional Institute on Aging will host a lecture "Quality of Life in Older Adults -- the Impact of Swallowing Difficulties" by Lyn Goldberg from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in 101 Geology Building. Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m.

* Student Health Services will begin giving flu shots today (Monday, Oct. 20) in 209 Ahlberg Hall. No appointment is necessary. The cost is $10 for students and $15 for faculty and staff; $14 if you bring a nonperishable food item for the Food Bank. For more information, call 978-3620.

* The Student Activities Council will host Trick-R-Trunk from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Charles Koch Arena parking lot.
