A Psychology Department Colloquium will feature a presentation by Deborah Ballard-Resich, Kansas Health Foundation Distinguished Chair in Strategic Communication in the Elliott School of Communication, from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in 127 Jabara Hall. The title of the colloquium is "Grounding Health Communications Initiatives in Culture and Contest: The Argument for a Community-Based Participatory Research Approach." Ballard-Reisch's research interests include family and couple communication, strategic health and risk communication, and international women's health.
