Introducing the changes in the update to Blackboard 8. The Grade Book and Discussion Board changes will be highlighted along with other changes. Access to Blackboard 8 will begin in October. Spring 2009 semester courses will use Blackboard 8. All faculty/staff using Blackboard in their courses should plan to attend one of the transition training sessions.

This session will introduce faculty to a new resource for professional media and peer reviewed content demonstrating how to add this content to Blackboard. Additional resources for managing and adding self-generated content such as video and PowerPoint will also be shown. Specific resources will include: Dallas TeleLearning, Intelecom, Merlot and Vimeo.
