Nurse Practitioner Week is being observed this week (Nov. 9-15) as NPs across the country celebrate more than four decades of practice and research. Wichita State's School of Nursing offers graduate NP programs in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. These programs lead to a 49-credit-hour Master of Science degree or a 74-credit-hour Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Post-masters options also are available.
