CUW to hold Scholarship Bash

Come one, come all to "Strolling the Midway" at the Council of University Women's annual Scholarship Bash from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the Rhatigan Student Center ballroom. Tickets for lunch, which includes choice of hamburger or hot dog, chips, cookie and soda for $4, can be purchased in advance from CUW members or at the door.

This year's bash offers participants a chance to stroll through a carnival, complete with games and carnival food such as cotton candy.

Baskets of fun items will be for sale, and participants have a chance to bid on a variety of terrific items in this year's silent auction, including an Eisenhower Foundation membership that comes complete with a declaration signed by the late president.

Tickets for the popular 50/50 and Night on the Town raffles also are available for $1 from CUW members or at the door. Tickets will be sold on site for games, including the cakewalk, ring toss, pick-a-duck and fishing games, and for carnival food extras.
