* Faculty and staff are invited to a retirement reception for Mary Conrad, chair, department of medical technology, College of Health Professions, from 1-3 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 17) in 203 Rhatigan Student Center. Remarks at 1:30 p.m.

* The Kansas Coalition Against the Death Penalty is co-sponsoring its annual meeting with WSU's School of Community Affairs and will feature the documentary "At the Death House Door" at 7:30 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 17) in 200 Ahlberg Hall.

* Two immigration attorneys will speak on the "Pitfalls and Possibilities of Employment Authorization after Graduation" at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in 107 Devlin Hall. Howard Eisberg and Judy Bordeau will present the latest developments in work authorization for international students and scholars after they complete their program of study or research.
