Diverse Women's Summit today (Wednesday, March 8) and Thursday, March 9

The WSU Center for Women's Studies, in partnership with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, will host Sen. Oletha Faust-Goudeau as a keynote speaker at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 8) in 100 Lindquist Hall. Faust-Goudeau, senator of Kansas' 29th district and alumna of WSU, will present "Women and Politics in Kansas and the U.S."

The Women's Studies' Summit will continue with presentations by faculty, students and alumni from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, March 9) at the Marcus Welcome Center. A brown bag lunch discussion will take place from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. that day. Beverages and desserts will be provided. For more information, go to:
