The Faculty Senate has been discussing a proposal to establish plus/minus grading at WSU. During the April 28 meeting, the Senate accepted the proposed plan with a vote of 16 yes, 12 no, and 1 abstention. In accordance with the Faculty Senate rules, proposals passed by the Senate that are of substantial interest to the faculty are required to receive additional support in the form of a vote by the general faculty. Therefore, the Senate invites all faculty to attend the General Faculty meeting at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, in the RSC ballroom to vote on this important issue.
