In June, KMUW's Global Village will feature the music of Brazil. This South American country has a long and rich musical tradition that emerged from a unique combination of indigenous, European and African influences. Global Village will explore a diverse range of artists and more during the June summer samba celebration. Global Village airs at 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays on KMUW FM89. Global Village also can be heard on the new KMUW-HD2 24-hour music service at midnight, 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 5 p.m. Fridays.
