Interviews with Les Anderson and students to air on KMUW

Les Anderson, associate professor and associate director of the Elliott School of Communication, and about 15 WSU students recently spent nearly two weeks in Greensburg interviewing residents of the tornado-devastated town and looking for stories that have not been reported on before. KMUW 89.1 FM will air a series of interviews with three of the students -- Quinn Addis, Ashley Arnold and Roni Ayalla -- during Morning Edition at 6:33 a.m. and 8:33 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, June 16-18, about their experiences and the stories they created. KMUW will interview Anderson about the project Friday, July 18. The stories also will be posted at www.kmuw.org beginning Monday, June 16.

Anderson has a blog at www.kansas.com about the project, "Greensburg Rebirth: Documenting the Rebuilding of a Community," and there's also a Web site with all the students' stories and more at www.greensburgrebirth.com.
