Now on view at the Ulrich Museum is "Taking Shape: Geometric Abstraction from the Collection." Emily Stamey, curator of modern and contemporary art, has selected works, including paintings, prints and sculpture, from the Ulrich's rich holdings of abstract art in which artists explore an idea, concept or emotion through nonrepresentational means. "Taking Shape" will be on view in the Amsden Gallery through Aug. 31.
