In conjunction with its July Americana music feature, KMUW's Global Village will celebrate the birthday of dustbowl legend and Americana original Woody Guthrie on Monday, July 14. The program will highlight a variety of Guthrie tunes, including some surprising covers, new material from the Woody Guthrie archives and selections from the new two-disc Woody Guthrie Tribute Tour set. Global Village airs weeknights at 9 p.m. on KMUW, FM 89.1 and at midnight, 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on KMUW HD2, which you can hear online at www.kmuw.org.
