The students of the Upward Bound Math Science Regional Center invite everyone to the 2008 UBMS Research Symposium. After five weeks researching, designing, experimenting, calculating and analyzing their projects and results, these talented youths will present their research and experimental findings from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, July 11, in 218 Hubbard Hall. Topics range from the performance of alternative fuels to the pest resistance of genetically modified vegetables to velocity differences between generic and name-brand water guns. Audience members are welcome to participate as judges at this come-and-go event.
