After earning bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Wichita State and nearly 20 years of service to the university, Mike Erickson will become associate vice president for technology and computing services (Chief Information Officer) at Emporia State University on Aug. 10. Erickson was hired as an instructor in the computer science department, and after two years took a position in University Computing. He became manager of the technical services team in January 1993.
