Reminders

* The W. Frank Barton School of Business invites faculty and staff to a farewell reception to honor Janet Harrah, director of the Center for Economic Development and Business Research, from 2-4 p.m. today (Friday, July 25) in the second floor conference room in Devlin Hall. Remarks will be made at 2:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

* Due to electrical power work being done in Jabara Hall, all university online services will be unavailable from 4:30-10 a.m. Saturday, July 26. This includes all Web services such as on-campus Internet access, myWSU, e-mail and Blackboard. In addition, Self Service and Banner will be unavailable from 4:30 a.m.-2 p.m. for maintenance.

* After nearly 20 years at WSU, Mike Erickson will become associate vice president for technology and computing services at Emporia State University on Aug. 10. Erickson's last day at WSU is today (Friday, July 25). You can extend best wishes to him at mike.erickson@wichita.edu or call 978-3453.

*An Ulrich Museum collection exhibition, "No Ideas But In Things: Artists Look At Objects," opens Saturday, July 26. The museum is open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is free.
