Celia Goering, director of satellite campuses, will retire from her position at WSU effective Aug. 23. According to Keith Pickus, associate provost, "Celia has been instrumental in developing both the West and South campuses, and her leadership will be greatly missed. Not only has she overseen the construction of both satellite campuses, but she has helped determine the appropriate curricular offerings at each location." Pickus said that a search will be conducted this fall for a replacement. A retirement reception to honor Goering's contributions to WSU will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, in the RSC ballroom. All members of the WSU community are invited to attend.
