* WSU Libraries is offering four Web of Science clinics for faculty who need a citation search for their tenure and promotion file. The next clinic is from 10-11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, in 217 Ablah Library. To sign up, contact Joe Barnes at 978-5072.

* Please submit your fall 2008 and spring 2009 campus events to WSU's online calendar. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/calendar/ and click on "Submit Events." Early entry is crucial to campus planners, campus media and statewide print and broadcast media, all of whom need to know the time, date, place and cost of any event.

* Blue Cross Blue Shield has advised of a possible telephone scam. BCBS officials say that they do not currently have any type of phone survey taking place. Please be aware of this potential scam and be cautious about providing personal information over the phone.
