The Wichita State volleyball team is ranked 24th in the AVCA Preseason Poll, which was released Aug. 12. The Shockers received 172 points in the poll. The Shockers open the season on the road Aug. 30, at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Invitational in Orem, Utah, against North Dakota State.
