Help for Haiti consortium meeting set for Sept. 13 at WSU

An informational meeting is planned for those interested in working with Wichita State as members of an interdisciplinary team of professionals to help a medical clinic and orphanages in Haiti.

The meeting will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, in 200 Ahlberg Hall.

The goal is to bring together a network of Wichitans, including health care professionals and others from the community, to create a consortium that will leverage resources to better offer front-line health care services at the clinics and orphanages in Pierre Payan, Haiti.

Trips are planned for April 4-18, and Nov. 14-28, 2014.

If you have questions about the event, contact the WSU Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at 978-3240.
