WSU to extend office hours for vital student services

Wichita State University is making services more convenient to all students and especially working adults.

Starting Monday, Nov. 4, Wichita State will extend operating hours for many of its most in-demand academic and student services until 7 p.m., four days a week.

Some of the offices that will be open from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays are:

  • Admissions
  • Graduate School
  • Financial Aid
  • Registrar
  • Career Services
  • Shocker Card Center
  • Tuition and Fees
  • University Bookstore
  • Counseling and Testing Center
  • Cooperative Education and Work-Based Learning
  • Student Health
  • Student Involvement

All colleges will offer academic advising by appointment on the same extended schedule.

Students can expect the same university services when WSU is open late as what is available during regular daytime hours.

Where do I start?

Returning adult students or any student who doesn’t know where to start can get assistance at the Student Success Center from 4-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays on the first floor of Rhatigan Student Center (north entrance). The Student Success Center also is open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, in Neff Hall, Room 115A.
