WSU Business Booster series set for fall

The Center for Entrepreneurship at Wichita State University is offering a fall series of nine seminars designed for entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to keep up with the best advice for operating business in today's dynamic economic times.

The Meritrust Business Booster seminars are from 12:30-3:30 p.m. beginning Friday, Oct. 3, in Devlin Hall. To register, go to www.wichita.edu/BusinessBooster.

The sessions are set up to accommodate business owners who have limited time to spend away from the office. The seminars cost $50 each or $349 for all nine sessions. The cost for WSU students is just $5 per session.

The presenters are a mix of Wichita State faculty and local experts.

All nine seminar topics aim to position entrepreneurs and small businesses to adapt quickly. Whether a start-up or established business, these programs will provide attendees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

“The focus is to help entrepreneurs take a new tool and apply it to their business in order to remain competitive, one challenge at a time,” said Wendy Veatch, director of outreach programming at the Center for Entrepreneurship.
