WICHITA, Kan. -- In front of a raucous 10,506, the Wichita State men’s basketball team defeated UNI 74-60 to claim the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season championship.

Five Shockers scored in double-figures with Ron Baker’s 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting leading the way. Fred VanVleet added 13 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Darius Carter, Evan Wessel and Tekele Cotton each poured in 11.
