Senior Sendoff: Student ambassadors celebrated for outstanding achievements

The Student Ambassador Society (SAS) at Wichita State University recently held its annual Senior Sendoff to celebrate the accomplishments of its members and recognize outgoing seniors.

SAS is an organization of outstanding student volunteers who work alongside the WSU Office of Admissions in recruitment efforts and programs. The group was founded 10 years ago with students known for their willingness to volunteer.

The "most outstanding new member" award winners at the event were:

The SAS graduating seniors have dedicated many hours to recruiting the next generation of Shockers at Wichita State. Many of them are taking the next step in their education, including law school, medical school and graduate programs in social work, physical therapy and audiology. Others will be starting careers in business and education. SAS continues to recruit the best and brightest ambassadors to share their Shocker experiences with prospective students, alumni and donors.
