Additional insurance carriers allow Wichita State University clinics to serve more Wichita-area patients

Two patient-serving clinics operated by the College of Health Professions at Wichita State University are now accepting additional insurance providers. The added carriers will enable the clinics to serve more patients in the Wichita area. The clinics are open to the public and accepting new patients.

The Delta Dental of Kansas Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Clinic is now an in-network provider for the following dental insurances: Delta Dental of Kansas, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and MetLife.

In addition, the Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic is now a Medicare provider for audiology evaluations. The clinic also has the advantage of being in-network providers with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Coventry for all of its services.

The additional carriers will allow many more Wichita-area patients to receive high quality care at reasonable rates from professional degree program students, licensed residents and experienced faculty.
